What is a Brain in Hand coach?

Modified on Mon, 28 Jul at 7:18 PM

Our coaches work alongside you, listening without judgement, focussing on what matters to you and creating a space where you can feel comfortable and supported.

All coaches either hold or are working towards an ILM Qualification in 'Effective Coaching and Mentoring', ensuring evidence-based, ethical practice. Each coach has at least two years' experience supporting neurodivergent individuals or those with mental health needs, with background including mental health services, autism and ADHD support services, specialist teaching, mentoring and speech and language therapy.

Once you’ve got your Brain in Hand licence, you’ll be able to book your first coaching session from within the app. You'll get a welcome email with a link to download the app and information about what to expect from your first coaching session.

All you need to do is choose a time and date that suits you and we'll match you to your coach. After the first coaching session, your coach will communicate directly with you about booking future sessions.

You can find out more about what to expect from your coach in the Brain in Hand coaching contract.
